Shri Palash Chakraborty is the respected Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Novomine. With over 30 years of professional experience, he has worked across a diverse range of industries in India - including engineering, construction, cement, and steel before starting Novomine in 2021.
His journey to Meghalaya started in 2011 with his association as a consultant for Tata Steel Limited - during which time, he worked extensively in the state, travelling to the remotest corners. His prime work in the company is focused on wrestling with the budgets, commitments, and agency vision for Novomine’s tomorrow. A homegrown entrepreneur, he is deeply committed to making Novomine a one-stop solution for our clients in the fields of geology, mining, and the environment.
He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow (PMJF) member of the esteemed Lions Club International Foundation. Every so often, he is actively involved in various social initiatives beginning with child education, health and eye care, community food/ essential items distribution, and other humanitarian activities.
