About Upayan Chakraborty

Upayan Chakraborty, with his dynamic personality combines legal expertise with leadership qualities. A graduate in B.A. LL. B. from the Heritage Law College of Kolkata affiliated to the University of Calcutta, Upayan is currently advancing his legal education through an LLM at South Calcutta Law College. His academic excellence is highlighted by notable achievements, including the Best Memorial Award at the prestigious St. Xavier's moot court competition.

In his role at Novomine, Upayan handles our legal department while actively contributing to strengthening our corporate relationships and operational efficiency. His fresh perspectives and innovative approaches have proven invaluable to Novomine’s multifaceted initiatives. Beyond his professional commitments, Upayan serves as a Melvin Jones Fellow (MJF) at Lions Club International Foundation, where he champions various humanitarian causes. His well-rounded personality extends to his passion for music, having co-founded his college band, demonstrating his creative leadership abilities even outside the professional sphere.
